Ahead of a series of live dates, including tours with Stereolab in February and Jane Weaver in April 2026, Emma Tricca has revealed an early Christmas treat for fans with the release of a new live album. Fans have been asking for a live album, and Prisms of Winter (Live in London) certainly captures the raw intimacy of an artist considered, as Thomas Blake writes of ‘Aspirin Sun‘, “one of our most valuable and interesting songwriters, capable of strange and beautiful sonic flights of fancy and unexpected lyrical turns.” Featuring a rich selection of songs from her past albums, this is a real treat.

“I was putting together various demos for a Bandcamp release (I haven’t had anything out for a while), but then I felt the urge to rework these songs as I play them now. So I went to see my friend Simon Alpin at his studio in Shoreditch, and we spent a few hours chatting about life and laying these tracks down – complete with the sounds of sirens and people partying on the streets and in the bars of East London.

How her voice inhabits each song has always been a highlight of Tricca’s delivery, and this live album is a soulful reimagining of her catalogue, offering fans a beautifully unpolished, heartfelt experience.
