Drayton Farley’s been enjoying national exposure recently through the soundtrack of the hit streaming show Landman on Paramount+. Along with the standalone single “Touch and Go” co-written by Dani Rose and Sunny Sweeney that appeared on Episode 13 (11-30), he also premiered the song “It’s Called Doubt” on Episode 16 (12-21), which will be on the new album. Honesty is what Drayton Farley credits with his connection with audiences. “I feel like if you’re going to write about yourself and your life, then just write about the way it is,” Farley says. “That honesty is going to translate. People are going to know when you’re bullshitting them or not.”Drayton Farley is also expected to go on tour in 2026 to support the new album, but is also planning an intimate show at Nashville’s Skinny Dennis on the March 27th release date. A Heavy Duty Heart is now available for preorder/presave.

I had the privilege of seeing him in concert in an intimate venue in Columbus, OH a few years ago and he put on a hell of a show. Everybody in the crowed knew every word to every song. His music is very easy to connect to, feel like any middle-class working American could. So excited for this
